The End of School Year = The Beginning of Summer Vacation

On Friday (22nd June), I had the last day of school. And as the school year was finishing, the summer vacation was beginning to start, and it already had. I’m so happy! No school until 3rd September!

I will just create a quick update first, because I know I haven’t posted a lot of articles for you (except Tarot Card of the Week articles) and I’m very sorry for that. The last article (if you don’t count the Tarot articles) was Eco-Friendly Blogs (10/6/12), where I informed you about the carbon emissions that computers make. So, if I remember correctly, after the 10th June, there were no more assessments at school, and we could relax and not worry about that anymore. On 16th and 17th June my classmates and I had our end-of-school-year trip; we went to the seaside. It was fun, but like I probably mentioned before, I don’t like heat, too much sun and water (in sense of being — swimming — in it), so I admit that trip wasn’t my favourite.

On Saturday my family and I are going to Venice. I can’t wait. Last year we went to London, and for my end-of-school-year trip I went to Prague (the city is beautiful!). On Monday, we are probably going to a shopping spree; we are going to a large nearby shopping centre. I don’t usually go to shopping sprees, because we have lots of shopping centres in my town. But we don’t have IKEA, so, I have to go there every two months probably :).

Last week, my thermometer (it’s actually a small weather station, which shows you the indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, air pressure, and current moon phase) showed 45.7 °C (that’s 114.3 °F if anyone was wondering) and that’s the highest temperature it ever measured. I was startled when I first saw it, but you know, there is a first time for everything.
