When you first saw the title, you were probably wondering: “Halloween? It’s not even May yet for crying not loud!” (just kidding :-D). Well, when I created a post about growing herbs (20/2/12), I forgotten to mention that together with basil, I also planted pumpkins for Halloween. I don’t really know what’s the real name for that species. I think they are called squash. The pumpkins aren’t big and orange, but are smaller. I don’t make lanterns out of them, but I use them as a decoration. They are really beautiful, they are yellow, green or orange in colour, have a pear-like shape, and some of them also have warts. They are quite big now. You can see a photo below.
